Rising pop star Carlie Hanson has caught our UNCO[V]ERED eye this week with her new single ‘Back In My Arms’.
In under two years, 18-year old Carlie Hanson has made her way from working at a McDonalds drive-thru in a small Wisconsin town to becoming a full-fledged artist and songwriter that has graced the pages of iconic fashion magazines CR Fashion Book and Remix Magazine.
When talking about the track, Carlie says: “’Back In My Arms’ is a song about my first romantic relationship with a girl. I wrote it about the feeling of intoxication and infatuation during a new relationship.”
With six self-released breakout tracks under her belt, Carlie opened for Aussie pop superstar Troye Sivan on his US Bloom tour, and made her European/UK debut opening for YUNGBLUD.
In November we’re going to experience Carlie‘s live shows for ourselves, as she joins Lauv for his Australian/NZ tour. You can spot her at any of the following dates:
The Tivoli – Brisbane
Enmore Theatre – Sydney
Forum Theatre – Melbourne
Astor Theatre – Perth
UNCO[V]ERED premieres on Saturday at 12noon, straight after the Spotify Countdown. Channel 801, only on Foxtel.
