Newcastle Just Scored A New Festival & Its Debut Line-up Is Epic

Newcastle may have just scored the festival line-up of the year, as new event Scene & Heard announces a November debut, bringing with it a stacked Aussie line-up.

The Wickham Park event, hosted by none other than Frenzal Rhomb’s Lindsay ‘The Doctor’ McDougall, has the best parts of the ‘90s written all over it, with The Living End, Spiderbait and Something For Kate enlisted as headliners for the inaugural run.

Organisers have described the event as “more than a festival”, and rather a “connection to a time” before smartphones and Spotify ruled all.

Here’s the full Scene & Heard 2018 line-up:

The Living End, Spiderbait, Something For Kate, Sneaky Sound System, Killing Heidi, Dallas Crane, Skunkhour, Front End Loader, Kid Kenobi, Groove Terminator, Goodwill

The November 4 party will also bring with it rock’n’roll vintage markets, a vinyl fair, artist signing tent, classic car display, epic food and drinks and more.

Head over to the Scene & Heard website for all the details.
