The Metro Theatre, Sydney’s home of independent music, has hooked up with Virgin Mobile, a brand with music in its blood, to create the Virgin Mobile Metro.

Thanks to Virgin Mobile, this partnership will safeguard the iconic venue’s future whilst giving support to the artists that perform there.
Virgin Mobile Members will get special access to exclusive tickets and VIP benefits at every Member’s gig at the Virgin Mobile Metro.

Launched in Sydney on 29th September 2009 by Sir Richard Branson, Dappled Cities, Seabellies, Villains of Wilhelm and The E.L.F, this special gig gave us a taste of exclusive Member’s gigs to come.

Kings Of Leon

Born and breed in Tennessee, Kings of Leon are a four-piece comprised of three brothers and a cousin. The rock-and-roll band formed in 2000.

Since then, they have released four albums. “Sex on Fire”, the first single from their latest album Only By The Night, peaked at No. 1 on the ARIA Single chart and sold over 280,000 copies, certifying it 4 x Platinum. The second single, “Use Somebody”, reached No. 2 on the ARIA Singles chart, with over 180,000 copies sold and double platinum status.

The first official DVD of Kings of Leon, Kings of Leon: Live At The O2 London, England will hit shelves on November 6.
