Step 2: Vote for your fave artist

Axle Whitehead
Without beating around the bush, Axle Whitehead was a notorious name in television- controversial, unscripted, and unedited- yet always with a larrikin sense of humour and cheeky charm. Despite many offers to re-enter television, Axle has decided to return to his first love and the original reason for his high public profile - his music. “Rethinking where I want to be in life and spending this time songwriting and getting back to my roots has been incredible. It's awesome to be a muso again” The strength of Axle's commitment to music hits home from the first note, his is a talent that is natural and unforced. Yet he's an artist prepared to put in the hard yards.
Over the course of 2007 Axle had been collaborating with several songwriters and producers, but it wasn't until he met US producer and songwriter, Robert Conley, that a magical collaboration formed. "Rob and I met to write one song together and within three weeks we had written what has become the backbone of my album", says Axle. The first single to be taken from the album is titled, “I Don't Do Surprises”, and was released in January, 2008. His debut album, Losing Sleep was released later that year.
